FAI’s Women’s Wing

The Objective:
To be a professionally organized, national women’s committee that will provide genuine opportunities for networking, professional development and promote the success of women in the franchising sector.

Women’s wing encourages entrepreneurship amongst women by bringing them together with other women achievers who have been successful in their ventures.
 
Mentorship Cell

The Objective:
Today franchise systems are looking more and more at the role of mentoring and its affect on their overall system. Our Mentors will help you make the right professional decision.

A mentor is somebody who has been there, done that, and can share wisdom with you regularly.

FAI mentors are not consultants.
 
Legal Committee

The Objective:
FAI understands there is a need for franchise professionals to be aware of the legal framework in franchising.

Legal committee stimulates discussion of the legal aspects of franchising, in order to educate the franchising community on issues of current concern.
 
International Committee

The Objective:
The FAI International Committee seeks to serve its members by fostering efforts to publish monographs and other materials on international franchising and distribution.

Proposing and developing programs and speakers on the subject of international franchising.

Expand membership from within and outside India to address the unique needs of international franchising.
 
Convention Committee

The Objective:
The FAI convention committee provides opportunities to the franchising fraternity to participate in high level educational sessions, to network with your peers, to interact with top franchising executives by organizing various conventions on a pan India level.
 
Membership Committee

The Objective:
Other than enrolling more members the FAI Membership Committee also ensures the members follow the ethics of best practice in franchising.

The membership committee also ensures all the members are satisfied with the services provided by FAI. Members can freely take up issues of grievances with this committee.
 
Publications Committee

The Objective:
FAI publishes a Bi-monthly magazine on franchising in India. The publication committee ensures that the magazine is of high quality with articles which can be of ready references to any one who wants to understand franchising.

The Ads released in the magazine are also monitored by the committee and it is ensured that the Ad guidelines are followed by all.
 
Expo & Awards Committee

The Objective:
The FAI Expo & Awards committee ensures the expos organized by FAI are of international standards by going into minute details.

The committee maintains the clarity and authenticity in the Awards given out by FAI. The awards are the most sought after and respected in the franchising industry.
 
Education & Entrepreneurship in Franchising
Chair : Mr. Pramod Khera
The Objective:
Educate the franchising fraternity about every aspects of franchising by way of organizing workshops, members meet and symposiums.

The committee will be releasing white papers on various aspects related to Franchising after extensive research on the topics.
 
Retail Committee

The Objective:
Substantial by domestic standards but small by international standards is how one can sum up Retailing in India. The retail committee will try and tackle the inherent challenges faced by the retail industry as retail and franchising go hand in hand
